Hakugaijin will Perform

The band will be playing today so some of the group were getting ready. There will be a lot of different performers blessing all the guests; the Gushiken Family will be Rockin the House!

Banquet Hall at Choichiro and Mami Wedding

This place is huge and they did a beautiful job of decorating the gymnasium at the school. It is going to be a beautiful wedding.

New Airplane

It is time to travel back home to Okinawa. But we are going home in style. Skymark airline has recently purchased new aircraft so this plane is sweet. The lights were white but then on takeoff they turned neon blue. Kind of like a "Star Wars" effect huh? Joel was giddy in happiness.

Faith, Faith, Faith

Our new step of faith. We are going to send in the papers tomorrow. If this is of the Lord may it be done! This place would be perfect for the Bible College, but perfect is whatever the Lord wants. Please join with us in prayer. (Courson) "Every Christian should be involved in something so big that it will fail miserably if God is not involved in it".

The Blessed Van

It drove like a champ! It is getting old but there were no problems at all. The new shocks worked great. Thank you Jesus for this van.

The Ride Home!

The trip to Tohoku was such a blessing. We were able to do so much outreach. It was a blessing seeing the Toma's and fellowshipping with our very own missionaries the Robb's. God bless you gang as you continue to serve Jesus up North. May this be the beginning of many trips in the future.

It was a Surprise Visit

But I knew they were coming. While Aki and Logan were here in Tokyo they planned to visit Okinawa and see the family. They stopped by the cafe to say hi. They are both such a blessing.

Second Outreach

We had a time of Christmas songs then the Word. Afterwards we cooked for over 100 people. They came in and we served them. Most of the people took the food home to their families. Afterwards they came back for coffee and snacks. We talked until close to 8pm. We arrived there at 12:30pm and started cooking, we were there about 7.5 hours. A very fruitful time.

Chuck and Yumi's Future House

Look way back to the left; that white house on the hill is going to be the Robb's house. God has opened some big doors for His Glory. Whatever He wants they want to go forward. Please pray for them.

The area is Still Devastated

Much of the area is cleaned up and ready to go, but then there are areas as you can see need so much work. It is amazing to see this house still in the water. It is still hard to soak it all in.

Nato Boy

Zach is a real Nijonjin; he absolutely loves Nato. He eats it right out of the package. Instant protein; in the words of Zach "It's like eating a steak". Go for it bro!

Getting Ready for the First Outreach

It is cold here in Higashatsushima but we are blessed to be here. We are getting ready to start the first of our two out reaches. Zach is going to sing some Christmas songs and Chuck will preach the people are starting to come.

We are going to miss our sister. Thank you Zanny for a blessed semester. Try to stay warm in New Mexico. Watch out for the mud races, but do all for the Glory of God!

Sendai!

We made it to Sendai and had a great night with the Tomas's and the Robb's. It is so good to see our brother's and sister's (Okinawa Family)

Lunch Rest Stop

On our way up to Tohoku we stopped for a quick lunch. We don't want to waste a lot of time but we also don't want to rush. Just be led by the Spirit of God.

As we drive past Downtown you can see the majestic Mt. Fuji in the back ground. It is covered with snow head to foot. A really beautiful sight!

Driving Past Downtown Tokyo

I have driven past Downtown Los Angeles about a thousand times, downtown Tokyo has that same feel. The building are high ad beautiful, towering above the sky.

Part Two of the Trip - Tohoku

We are heading out to Tohoku now. Please pray for us as we set out for the Glory of the Lord. We will meet up with the Robb's and serve at the new shelters in the area.

Heading Back to Fuchu

The sky is beautiful as the sun sets behind us. The church service at CCTokorozawa was a blessing. As we drive back to Fuchu from Costco in Iruma city it was nice and relaxing. More fellowship tonight.

Fuchu Kids Christmas Celebration

Pastor Rich had an outreach to the school parents. The kid showed up for Hawaiian shoyu chicken and lots of goodies. It was a blessed night, the kids had a lot of fun and heard the Gospel.

Final Words: Pastor Rich

We were so blessed that Pastor Rich allowed us to come and use the building to host the conference. Thank you again Rich. To God be the Glory!

Communion

As we wrapped up the conference Zach can back and led us in a time of coming before the Lord. A great way to end the conference.

Session Six - Mike Snider

Our very own CCBC former student now missionary at CCTokorozawa Michael Snider did a great job encouraging us in Servant/Leadership in Worship. In the words of Michael "it all begin with worship". Thanks bro, blessed time.

Session Five - Servant/Leadership in the Workplace

Yasutomo taught our workshop in the main room and Tokito taught upstairs on "Servant/Leadership with Children". It was such a blessing to see Stomer teach the Word. God gave him good insight for us to be encourage in. We need to be good witnesses in the workplace.

Session Four - Workshop

Joel taught for the men and Aki taught the women (sorry, I did not get a picture of her session). Everyone was blessed. Joel did an excellent job!

Session Three - Peter and Logan

Peter taught and Logan translated into Japanese. Pretty amazing the giftings these men have. Peter taught on Jesus as the example of "Servant/Leadership".

After Conference Get Together

The first night of the conference is over. So we gathered for some 200yen Big Macs. It was a good late night gathering.

Session Two - Live a life of a Servant

Before you can "live a life of a servant" you have to live in the Spirit, you have to "walk in the Spirit". Tom Cotton encourages us in the Word of God. Go Tom go!

Session One - "Assisting the Pastor"

Zach Ruiz has taken session one on the conference. His portion of Scripture is from Ex.1813-27. Moses the leader and those who were called to assist him in the ministry. Good session for us to follow.

Tokyo Station

The traffic was getting thick as we were making our way to CCFuchu. We had a lot of baggage with us, so we picked a new spot and waited for the next train.

The Boyz are on the Train

We arrived safely in Haneda airport now it is time to travel down to Fuchu. The guys are all excited. "Lord what do you have in store for us?"

Strawberry Melon Pan

This by far this is my favorite dessert here in Okinawa (the white whip cream ones). It is best eaten with a banana. But, this is the first time that I have ever purchased a "strawberry filled melon pan". There were rumors swirling around the island that they were in existence, but I found one here at the airport. I had to wrestle an "ojichan" for the last one, but I won! (jk) Only in Okinawa; Strawberry filled Melon pan, you have to try one. Just one more thing to love about Okinawa.

Tokyo and Tohoku

The boyz are heading out for the Servant/Leadership Conference at CCfuchu. CCBC Tokyo is hosting the event. Monday morning some of us will be heading out to Tohoku to assist the Robb' in an outreach. We will keep you posted all the way.

Saying Goodbye

We are leaving for Tokyo today so To Cotton will be heading back to Australia for Christmas and Logan will be serving in Fuchu for the month. We will all have a blessed time.

CC Winter Camp

Calvary Chapel Living Water hosted a winter camp up in the San Bernardino mountains this past week. It looks like it was a blast! Young people getting together to serve the Lord is always exciting. Go for God gang!

Rie' English Devotions

I am blown away on how well these students are doing in their English studies. Rie' devotion was great. They are growing daily in their relationships with Jesus.

Ginowan Girls

A beautiful picture of the girls and the graduates. It was a fun exciting night. God is doing such a good work in the lives of these young gals. He has good things in store for them.

Pastor Tim shared an encouraging word for the students. It was such a blessing to have them here all the way from Nago city. What a special time. Don't the graduates look great!

Kazuki leading Worship

For the first time Kazuki' parents have heard him lead worship. This was a big step pretty exciting. There son was not a believer but now he is in love with Jesus.

Chara give devotion in English

It is such a blessing to see these gals stepping out in faith and sharing a devotion in English. Their English skills are doing so well. Go for it Chara, congratulations!

Final Pre Marital Counseling

Choichiro and Mami are getting married next weekend. We held their final class inviting the Wunderlich's and the Neely's to come and be a part. God bless them on their new adventure in life.

Beautiful Crew

The Fall 2011 Semester students banquet. We held it this year at the Daichi Grand Mer Hotel here in Okinawa. The students looked beautiful and we had an outstanding luncheon. Thank you Jess for this crew!

CCGinowan Communion Potluck

The church after Second Service gathered for a potluck. It is always a blessing when the body gathers for fellowship. The joy we have in Jesus!

Witnessing at Mihama

A group of us headed out for a time of ministry sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Naoko and Tatsuhiko did a great job of singing and sharing Jesus. "Thank you Lord for the opportunity to share Your Love".

Derrick Forbes at Lectures

Derrick is here in Okinawa for the next month so we invited him to come and speak to the students about the Franklin Graham ministry. It was a blessing to see our brother and have him share Jesus with us.

Meet Paloma!

Hi Gang, let me introduce to you Paloma. He is the gal in the glasses; please keep her in your prayers. This picture was taken on her most recent trip to Haiti. Paloma really has a heart for Japan so it would be a blessing to some day have her out with us here in Okinawa or Mainland Japan. Please lift her up to the Lord, she is really a neat gal. Everything is perfect, in His timing.

Aya in English

Aya gave her first devotional in English. She has given her testimony but never a message. She did a wonderful job. I can't wait to take her through the biblical preaching class next semester. God willing, for the Lord's Glory.

Heading to Tokyo

The Hawaii crew are making their way to the Mainland; that is Mainland Japan. They were such a blessing and we all had a great time. Asa is going to miss them the most, these guys were his best buddies. He cried when I would not let him give them some of his Legos to take on the plane. My son is so giving, it really does blow me away. Have a good time in Tokyo. Hey, who is that guy in those image glasses?

Last Call

The final group before we left Wednesday night Po wanted a picture. So whoever was left crammed it in. A good looking bunch of Christians. We are going to miss these guys.

Acts 2:42 Fellowship

On Wednesday nights we gather for a Koinonia meal and then get right into the mid week Bible Study. The Hawaiian students jumped right in helped out, they were a real blessing.
