The gals got together for this picture to celebrate those gals who got baptized this Sunday at Kouki Beach. It rained and rained and rained, but it was a super blessing. Swimming in the rain was awesome! The whole afternoon was awesome!

By far, the best Ramen joint that I have ever had. You start out with this delicious ice tea. Then you have as much spicy bean sprouts, picked dikon and whole garlic you can consume. Then comes more good stuff: Tonkatsu Ramen, 4 Gyoza, and a side of Fried Rice. All for only $8.00. College Ramen #1!

The 4 Nijonjin

Kyle, Jake, Nathan and Justin all have Japanese blood in them. This is a first that all the SOS dudes have Japanese roots. Counting Zach and me, we are the Nijonjin Gang.

We have arrived safely in Tokyo. The SOS Group hit the floor running with a full day at the "We Go Eigo" VBS. Kyle is fitting in perfectly.

First Tokyo Train Ride

Jake has done it many times but for Vanessa and Kyle, this is a first. They are riding like a champ. CCBCTOKYO here we come.

Arrived in Tokyo

After a few hours layover in Osaka we made it to Tokyo. Now we board the bus to Tokyo Station, then we get on two trains to the Bible College. Planes, trains and automobiles.

SOS Part One Team Heading to Tokyo

Jake, Kyle and Vanessa are heading to Tokyo to begin part 2 of SOS. The team will spend 2 weeks in Tokyo doing ministry and getting familiar with the Mainland. They will be busy with CCFuchu' VBS in full swing. Please pray for the group.

9th Year Anniversary!

Today we celebrate 9 years here in Okinawa. I can believe it! God is so faithful and He has been faithful to our whole family. Zach in Tokyo and Hannah is California. We are a blessed family. Still walking in faith.

It's Dragon Fruit Season

Kenkisan my Grandpa next door neighbor is full "Uminchu" (Okinawan Fisherman). He give me two things; ocean mini-clams and Dragon fruit (when in season). This is from his garden, they are huge and delicious! Great with yoghurt!

Beautiful Day in Okinawa

Today was gorgeous here in Okinawa. It was hot 88 degrees but add in the humidity. But was was so nice, a good breeze. Ahhhhhh, good Okinawa summer day.

Blessed Wednesday Night

The Lord has been packing out our Wednesday Night Service. He has been multiplying the food and multiplying the people. Pastor Andrew has been teaching well. We are all blessed.

Bomb Alert

The City of Ginowan looks for unexplored ordinance (WW2 bombs) in the neighborhoods. This Sunday they will be searching and digging near the girls D House. Don't worry mom's, the girls won't be there. They can't come home until Sunday night.

SOS (Summer of Service) Ramen

Delicious Tsukemen! It is like Ramen. The noodles are on the side and you dip them in the sauce, delicious! This is Anna Hebel's favorite place. It is their 10 year Anniversary so if was half off. The line was out the door.

SOS 2013!

First Typhoon of the Season

Well folks, it looks like the first typhoon of the season will hit us this Thursday night or Friday morning. Praise The Lord it looks like it is going to be below us, but please pray that it does go under us and does not cause any damage in Taiwan. We get hit with many typhoons during the year, and we don't want to take any one of them for granted. Thank you for your prayers.
