This is for you Eder!

DSC00376DSC00383DSC00385 Everyone knows how much Eder is a fan of Star Trek. How he made us this last summer spend countless hours watching the Hollywood movies. Who can forget the excitement as Eder could not control himself watching “The Voyage Home”. We happened to come up William Shatner’s star on Hollywood, and when they had all the actor’s signatures and footprints together we thought “we just have to get this for Eder”. Well, here you go bro, we hope we made your day.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

DSC00375DSC00374 As we visited Hollywood in Los Angeles, we were blessed to come upon the star dedicated to Billy Graham. So we stopped and took a picture. Evangelist Billy Graham right there in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Presidential Video

Many Presidents have visited the Mission Inn, Riverside California. This is a short video of those Presidents who have spent time at this Historic place.

History in Los Angeles

DSC00369 DSC00366DSC00367DSC00363 Saturday Morning Chuck and Kay Rodriguez invited us along with Jesse and Rose Hernandez to drive downtown to the City of Los Angeles and eat breakfast at the Famous “Pantry”. The history here is incredible. I will try to made it short. The restaurant has been open since 1924 and has never locked its doors because it never closes. There are people always here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What makes this place so special for one thing are their portion size (check out Joanna’s plate), another thing is that their sourdough bread is flown in daily from San Francisco. There is literally a line out the door (check out the picture above). It was a lot of fun.

Mission Inn Video

This is a little video of our visit to the Mission inn located in the City of Riverside. We had a blessed time, we hope you like the video, just click on it above.

President Taft’s Chair

DSC00356DSC00355 Many of the recent Presidents of the United States have visited and stayed at the Mission Inn. There is actually a chair that was dedicated to the late President Taft. He was a big man, so he had a big chair. As you can see, both MIchal and me fit comfortably in the seat. It was kind of an honor to visit and see all this history.

Visit to the Mission Inn

DSC00338DSC00346DSC00347 Christmas night we took a little trip to downtown Riverside to visit the World Famous “Riverside Mission Inn”. Ever since I have been dating Joanna she has loved to come and visit this area of Riverside. There are many antique shops and history here in the down town. During Christmas the whole block is lit up with Christmas decorations. Even Zach likes coming and visiting this area during this time of the year. It was a fun trip.

Pastor Chuck Hospitalized

Pastor_Chuck_SmithPastor Chuck had a mini stroke today. The doctors expect a full recovery. Please continue to pray for him and the family. He is dearly loved by many of us and I am sure that he wants to get right back into the pulpit. It is always difficult when you hear that men of God like Pastor Chuck get sick or suffer medical problems, Praise the Lord God is under full control.

Merry Christmas from West Tokyo

2009-Merry Christmas-2

This is the email card that Pastor Santo sent to us this year from Calvary West Tokyo. It is a good picture of him and his family. Please continue to pray for our church family there in Mainland Tokyo. God has given Santo good vision especially as he has returned from India where he was teaching different Pastors along with some of the Pastor’s from Hawaii who were a part of that same group. I am sure it was a wonderful trip. God bless you Santo family, we hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Hey, check out how cold it was, Geigy is all bundled up, and Pastor Jeremiah looks like he is ready for the Mountain slopes. It looks like they had a great time.

Christmas Morning

DSC00332DSC00335DSC00334 DSC00333DSC00331Asa woke up super early and wanted to open his presents like most kids at his age. So we ate breakfast, and then started the process. We take turns opening the presents one by one. Asa like always had a lot of gifts. Merry Christmas everyone!

Candy Cane Lane

DSC00326DSC00324DSC00320 In Corona there is a street that is dedicated with the owners decorating their houses for Christmas. You can drive down the street and see all the houses decorated and lit up for the Holidays. We took Cotton and Anna for a drive as well as the rest of our family. The lights were beautiful.

Christmas at the Yancu’s

DSC00302DSC00303 Christmas Eve we spent time at Joanna's sisters house in Riverside. The kids opened a present and like always, Asa gets totally excited. There was a lot of food and a lot of fun.

Loudermilk’s

DSC00296Pastor Mike came down to Living Water to attend the Wednesday night service. It was great to see the family. Mike will be down until the end the Missions Conference in January. Jesse Spencer will be joining the crew, it will be good to see the Spencer.

The MIze’

We are looking forward to Monday, we will be driving up to Nevada to spend a few days with them, to also visit with Eder’s family and to see Daniel and Rianna. It will be a blessed time.

18650_216458119369_596629369_3251876_4031092_nI don’t know what this picture is all about, but it looks so good. Can someone write us a comment and tell us what is happening? It looks like you are meeting at one of the ladies houses. How was the food?

Amazing Anna

We had fun looking at pictures the other day. Anna was telling us how she has lost weight living in Okinawa. I did not believe her, then she showed me some pictures from e3missions. I could not believe it, she was right. Don't worry folks, I got Anna's permission to put these pictures up on e3missions. Just another testimony of the wonders of Cabbage. We are blessed because Anna will be attending next semester at the Bible College. We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for all of us this coming February. Please continue to pray for us as we start the Japanese side of the Bible College. We are looking forward to the Japanese students that the Lord will be bringing. Every semester is a blessing. New things God has in store for us all.

Amargo’s Christmas

i family christmasThis is a really cool Christmas card, capturing the personality of all the Amargo’s. We miss them so much in Okinawa, the good thing is that Iza is still there right now. God bless you Amargo’s, we love you all.

It looks like Santa Eder, and Bilbo Brevik. But they lood pretty good. I think that they were making thier rounds throughout Okinawa’s Ginowan City. Wow! I can imagine the Okinawan’s were a little scared. But it looks like they were having a great time. One question; where is Rob?

Comment Moderation

I regret to inform everyone that we had to add a comment moderation mode on e3missions. As some of you have noticed on some of the comments on the articles, companies have been advertising their products. Recently we had an advertisement that left something inappropriate, so we had to add another step to the process. It is a bummer, but this is one of the only ways that we can stop this unwanted spam. We love your comments, so does everyone else who reads e3missions. They are a great encouragement to all the readers, so please do not stop leaving comments, they are an encouragement. It will just take one more step, sorry again for the inconvenience. We love you all! Pastor Tommy
