Brothers of Boaz Get Together

This is the last BOB for our brother Tomoyuki (green) and Abraham (blue). Both of these brothers are moving back to Mainland Japan. Tomoyuki will be heading back now that he has graduated from College to help at his Father’s Day Care Center. Abraham will begin his new job after receiving his Doctorate. We are going to miss these brothers. Trevor had a special BOB Pizza night (make your own pizzas), Trevor will be leaving soon too, but we will save that for another blog.

Erin Shaver’ visiting from Ome City

Many of you remember our dear sister Erin. She is now a full time missionary in Mainland Japan. She has a week off for Spring Break so she is with us here in Okinawa. It is such a blessing to have our dear sister back for this time. This morning she shared her testimony with the Bible College Students. Thank you so much Erin, God bless you!

Happy Birthday Chris!

It was Chris’ 24th Birthday yesterday so we celebrated w2 style. Earlier in the evening he rocked the house on lead guitar. It was a blessed celebration, it was a blessed night.

No one Guessed it!

It was John Michael. What was he doing outside sleeping outside his tent. Before I went to bed I thought “where is John Michael”? I thought maybe he talking to the guys. But when I woke up I was a little worried. But when I went outside, there he was, safe and sound. It was really cold that night! How did he do. John Michael, if you are out there leave us a comment below and tell us what were you thinking and why did you sleep outside that night.

After dinner we headed back to the Ruiz’s house to celebrate with the kids. It was a fun evening. We watched some youtube videos, and the kids played Wii. Pastor Tom loved the sound of his Birthday song, sing it louder kids!

How many Parties does this guy get?

Well, this is the one that we really planned on. About at month ago we planned to gather at “On Dish” for some good Blue Seal Ice Cream. So all the Living Water missionaries gathered together to Celebrate the 50 year Olds Birthday. Sorry Jeannie, your hubby did eat a lot of ice cream. I hope he is ok for tomorrow, he as to Preach at CCOkinawa. two services!

Hardcore Warriors

Out in the jungle of Okuma only the strong survive, the strong in Jesus that is. The guys were just chillin next to the fire. Don’t worry mom, everyone went to bed pretty early. Devotions start early in the morning. That’s right, Ginowan hardcore warriors.

Prunes for the Prune

Don’t get mad at me, this is all Pastor Rick’s fault. He threw a little party for Tom at Okuma. The guys gave him an uplifting song (yeah right). Well, as you can see, an old man, he needs his prunes.

It is Tom Hallman's Birthday so at the CCO's Men's Retreat, Pastor Rick bought some ice cream and we sung Tom the song, we hope you like it. We added a half century, 50 year old song tempo to it. Happy Birthday Pastor Tom Hallman!

Fries for the Birthday Boy

During one of the breaks at the Conference we headed for the Restaurant at Okuma and macked down on the french fries. It is Pastor Tom Hallman’s birthday so we said “let’s go for it”, so we ordered the large fries. It was grub down festival.

CCOkinawa’s Men’s Retreat at Okuma

Let the Retreat Begin

The Men's retreat began today starting with an introduction from Glen Phipps. Pastor Tom Hallman was the first feature speaker. He spoke from Daniel chapter 1. We are looking forward to a blessed time with the Lord.

Only One Guy was Studying, but that is debatable

Kicking back at Okuma. The first session does not begin until 4pm, so we just hung out at the restaurant, ate some fries, drank some soft drinks and soaked up the relaxation. The rest of the crew were frolicking around on the beach, hiking, playing sports, but some of us just chose to “kick back”.

Daniel in Daejeon

Well our good brother Daniel is back in Korea. We are so blessed for him to be back ministering with Pastor Mike. I know that he is loving it. The Korean food, the friends, the cold weather and did I fail to mention Nayeon is with him, wooowooo! God bless you Daniel, we are behind you 100 percent. Okuma Retreat

The guys at the Bible College were invited to join CCOkinawa for their Men’s retreat up at Okuma Resort in Northern Okinawa. The day began cloudy but as the day got going the sun peaked out and it is beautiful. Our prayer is that this will be a good time for the students to learn from the Lord and grow in a closer relationship with Him and each other. Please pray for us.

Asa’s Last Day in First Grade

I cannot believe that my son has now been in Japanese school for one whole year. Tomorrow is the last day of First Grade for him. The Japanese school calendar is different than the American Schedule. Here in Japan the kids finish school in the middle of March. The top picture is the first day of First Grade, and the bottom picture was taken about a month ago at their school program. Asa has a really good teach (Reinasensei) and wonderful classmates. For the past year I have been praying for Asa’s Principal, his teachers and his classmates. “Lord, thank you for Your Faithfulness”.

Hey what is that girl doing there in the picture? This is about the guys saying bye to a good brother in the Lord. Just kidding! Anna we love you but how did you get into this picture? You were waiting for the right moment weren’t you? Well, I guess it was just “Girl Power”.

We are going to miss Jeremy. He has been a faithful servant there at Futenma Chapel and a great friend of Eder. God bless you Jeremy, may the Lord lead, guide and direct your steps.
