Friday night, Nick Pukish was over our house for P2 (prayer and praise) and afterwards he invited Mark and I to participate in the 9k run that the US Naval Hospital sponsors for breast cancer awareness. So we jumped in on the invite. We gathered at the Hospital at 6:30am and the run began at 7am. It was a total blast, we were so blessed that Nick invited us to participate. Dr. Nick is located on the bottom left of the picture. Afterwards Shoko (Nick's wife) took us out to breakfast at Kadena Airforce base. We ran off the pounds, then put them right back on.
My family and I moved to Okinawa Japan after Pastoring in Corona, California for 14 years. We started the church in 1991, and have a wonderful church family back in Corona. The reason for coming to Okinawa, is that we have a vision to start a Calvary Chapel Bible College and prepare men and women for ministry all over the World. We feel totally blessed to be overseas in Japan, and believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do here on the Island.
