Saturday night, Joanna, Trevor and myself were invited by Captain Mark Davis and Keegan to the Officer's Ball at the Butler O Club. We were blessed and honored to be a part of that nights festivities. Pictured below (bottom right) is Captain Davis and Lt. Nate who are such a blessing in our lives. On the upper left is a picture of Brigadier General Joseph Medina. General Medina has served in the Marine Corps for over 30 years. He was the guest of honor that night, and it truly was an honor to have the opportunity to speak with him, and take a picture. Watch out everyone, Captain Davis and Keegan can dance up a storm! These guys could form their own dance crew. If Pastor Tim needs some new breakdancers, these guys will fill the bill.
My family and I moved to Okinawa Japan after Pastoring in Corona, California for 14 years. We started the church in 1991, and have a wonderful church family back in Corona. The reason for coming to Okinawa, is that we have a vision to start a Calvary Chapel Bible College and prepare men and women for ministry all over the World. We feel totally blessed to be overseas in Japan, and believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do here on the Island.
