Door to Door invitation

Sunday afternoon a group of us went door to door and invited our neighbor's to next weeks "Block Party". It was kind of neat to hear that most of our neighbor's knew who we were and where we lived. (I don't know if that is good or bad, Asa can get kind of loud) Many of our neighbor's were excited about coming over our house next week. We have a lot planned. We are going to have hot dogs, Hamburgers, Music, and playing some American games. So pray for us as we prepare to show the love of Jesus next week at the "block party".

Visit to Okinawa Christian Junior College

Let me introduce to you Jason Arbogast (click the picture on the bottom left) he is a real good brother who loves the Lord. We had the opportunity to visit Okinawa Christian Junior College where he teaches english. We had a great time sharing with the students about our background and what we are doing here in Okinawa. Vunder, Zach, and Pastor Tommy spent a few hours eating lunch and talking with the students. We have been invited back to play some music this Saturday, at a festival that the school is hosting. So please continue to pray for us that God would open more doors for ministy.

Hallman's in Virgina

Such a blessing to see that Tom, Jeanne and the boys are doing great in Virginia. They took the afternoon off and visited a place called "Waller Mill" to see the beautiful trees and leaves as they turn different colors. Pastor Tom said that the weather is now in the 70's and it is so wonderful. Continue to pray for the Hallman's as they faithfully serve the Lord in Virginia. This week at MELT (my english lunch time)

Pastor Tommy and Joanna arrived in Tokyo today to attend the Tokorozawa Pastor's conference. We spent the day hanging around with Pastor Travis and the rest of the Pastor's from Hawaii. As some of you well know, Travis was originally sent from CCHonolulu to start the Calvary Chapel here in Tokorozawa. We had a good time getting around the city and riding the subways. The rest of the group from Okinawa will arrive in the next few days.

Meeting with Marine Chaplain Biadog

Tuesday morning we had a meeting with one of the Chaplains at Camp Hansen. Chaplain Biadog is a great man, he has often helped in ministry at OCSI, and extended his hand in fellowship to us here in Okinawa. We met to talk about the possibility of outreaching again to the Marines, but this time during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Please pray for us that God will speak to our hearts and give us big vision for the Marines up in the Northern area of Okinawa.

Sunday night -w2- Worship/Word

Tonight was a real blessing, the gang came for Biblestudy and we taught on John chapter 17, Jesus prayer for the future believers. It was awesome to realize that 2000 years ago, Jesus was thinking about us. Please continue to pray for w2, that the Lord will bring more Japanese people to come hear, and experience the Love of Jesus Christ.
