Monday's are dayoff/travel days. We take the time to see different parts of the island and learn Okinawan history. This day we took the college students to Katsuren Castle Ruins which is on the way to Ikei Island. In the early years of the Okinawan Dynasty, the country was under Monarch Rule. The kings lived in different castles located all over the island. This one, has such a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and Ikeijima (Ikei Island). The weather is beginning to change on Okinawa, and it really cooled down last night, and today was overcast. That still did not ruin our day, the view was beautiful. Please click on the pictures to see them better.

Hi guys, Just a reminder. The comments on e3missions are meant to be written with edification in mind. A lot of people read them to be encouraged. Please edify or do not comment, thank you so much.
My family and I moved to Okinawa Japan after Pastoring in Corona, California for 14 years. We started the church in 1991, and have a wonderful church family back in Corona. The reason for coming to Okinawa, is that we have a vision to start a Calvary Chapel Bible College and prepare men and women for ministry all over the World. We feel totally blessed to be overseas in Japan, and believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do here on the Island.
