Our Sister Valerie
This is from our good sister Val. We miss her so much here in Okinawa. Here is a little email that she sent us;
Hello all!
Attached are a few photos so far from my trip aka pre-deployment leave. Hope this email finds you all well.
-Donating my hair.
-Taking a ferry across the river to get to Devil's Lake state park with my brothers and their wives: James and Kayla, Richard and Kristy.
-All the girls crammed into the back seat on the ride down.
-An action shot of me climbing at Devil's Lake courtesy of Richard and Kristy : )
Take care and thinking of you,
Valerie
Costco: We want one in Okinawa
Pastor Tim at Ippeki Lake
Welcome to Ippeki Lake. This was the center of a volcano and as you can see is now a beautiful lake. It is also called "the eye of Izu". Izu is the peninsula where I have been staying these past few wonderful days. There are so many friendly people here, it's much like Okinawa. It has opened my eyes to see that there are many more places with many more people that need to hear the truth of the Gospel. I believe the Lord has used me as a testimony of Himself here.
I have finished my english classes and I'm now on my way into Tokyo where I will be teaching at Calvary Chapel Nishi Tokyo tomorrow morning.
It is Completed!

Pastor Tim in Shimoda
I visited a town called Shimoda today. Historical and a resort area full of surf spots. Too bad it was flat today.
A carronade from 1829. As you can see they've improved over TIMe.
I was walking down this very old beautiful street in and found out that Perry came into this port. The street is called "perry road." I was walk a historical road without knowing how historical it was!!! I've studied this stuff but never walked through it.
Tomorrow we have our last active English kids class, then I head to the big city, Tokyo

Pastor Tim on the Mainland
Tim is now in Shizuoka. This picture is taken of him on the top of a volcano. I don’t know what he is doing up there but it looks like he is having some fun. Actually he is sightseeing with some of the extra time that he has when he is not teaching his classes. Pastor Tim will be in Mainland Japan for about two weeks. We will follow his adventures through the web.

Minna Jima (Island)
photos by Zach Ruiz 25 minutes off the coast of Nago City in Okinawa is one of the prettiest islands in all of the Ryukyu chain. I could not believe how clear and beautiful the water was. I have seen some clear water, but never as clear as here. There was a small group who went before the new Bible College Semester begins, we had a blessed time.
