Well, another birthday has come, but this one is different in that we celebrated it early because Joel is heading to Tokyo. He will be serving at CCBCTOKYO for the remainder of the semester. GO TOKYO! But is Tokyo ready for Joel?
The gals got together for this picture to celebrate those gals who got baptized this Sunday at Kouki Beach. It rained and rained and rained, but it was a super blessing. Swimming in the rain was awesome! The whole afternoon was awesome!
By far, the best Ramen joint that I have ever had. You start out with this delicious ice tea. Then you have as much spicy bean sprouts, picked dikon and whole garlic you can consume. Then comes more good stuff: Tonkatsu Ramen, 4 Gyoza, and a side of Fried Rice. All for only $8.00. College Ramen #1!
SOS is finished and Vanessa is heading back to San Diego. She was such a blessing to us all. It was a bummer to see her go but we are so glad The Lord brought her here. God bless you Vanessa thank you for coming and being a part.
Aya arrived safely from California/Idaho and Yuko is here safely from New York. It is great to have these gals back. They are getting ready for the Single Women's Conference here in Tokyo. Kayo looks wonderful like always.
My family and I moved to Okinawa Japan after Pastoring in Corona, California for 14 years. We started the church in 1991, and have a wonderful church family back in Corona. The reason for coming to Okinawa, is that we have a vision to start a Calvary Chapel Bible College and prepare men and women for ministry all over the World. We feel totally blessed to be overseas in Japan, and believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do here on the Island.
