The "Star Ferry"
My good friend Tim Espinoza said "Unless you ride the Star Ferry, you have not visited Hong Kong yet". So I made sure to bring the group for a ride in Hong Kong Harbor. It was a short trip, but a fun one. Pastor Mike looks like he is enjoying himself.
Hong Kong from "The Peak"
We traveled to the top of Hong Kong Island to a place known as "the peak". From this place you can absolutely see everything. It was a beautiful sight, almost surreal. We were able to spend some time there, but then we had to head home. We have a full day of the conference tomorrow and we have to get a good night sleep. 5:30am comes early in the morning.
Old School Boat
This was a super cool picture of an old style Hong Kong boat that was floating down the river. We caught it just as it was coming by. These types of boats used to roam the oceans, one of the last of its kind.

Durian Spikes
The sign said “Watch out for the Durian Spikes”. I guess they can be “nasty” if you are poked. But the spikes are not to worry about so much as the “smell” of this tropical fruit. A fruit durian is sometimes outlawed in hotels. The smell is “horrible” but I heard the taste is “delicious”! You heard it, the smell is close to “rotten eggs”. As you can see, the smell was already getting to Hannah.
Noodle Time
Shopping Hong Kong Style. At lunch we were set free to go and discover the city. So we went our in search for the perfect “noodles”. We found a little shop in the back streets. Hannah had Joanna’s favorite a type of Doria. While the rest of us noodled out. There was a lot of shops in the back alleys and Hannah got some good “stuff”. It started to rain, but that did not hold us back. The hunting begins tonight, a visit to Hong Kong Island.
