Time to leave Tokorozawa

The Sakura Boyz

Good picture huh? The guys are in a once in a life time place. They are hanging in the Sakura Snowfall. That is what it is like when the peddles begin to fall. A nice day, a nice downfall.

Dinner at with our Best Buddy

There is this ramen shop in Tokorozawa that is awesome. The owner has the best personality that yo have ever met. He is so happy and jolly. Some of you have ate there; he is located right next to the CoCo Curry house where Tom Cotton used to work. Real delicious food!

Packed Train Ride

We were starting to get crowded in the train but it did not matter to the students, they were having a great time. Too many people and too little time.

Rusty's neighborhood, check out the beautiful Sakura trees, they are in full bloom. An added blessing of being in Tokyo at this time.

Ambers Family is Here!

This is such a good picture of Ambers mom, brother and the baby. They will be in Japan for two weeks. The Spearman's look good too. I like Amber's mom a lot, she is an avid follower of e3missions.

CCFuchu

We took some train rides to CCFuchu to see Rusty, Amber and the Rose's. It was a lot of fun getting there, but we did not have time to stay long. Rusty is getting right in there with the kids and having fun. Praise the Lord!

First Train Ride

Well, their first Monorail ride into Shinkuku Station (Downtown Tokyo). I want to show the crew around before we head to Fuchu to see the gang, and then off to CCTokorozawa.

Arrival!

We made it to Tokyo Airport in Haneda. We were blown away as we flew into the concrete jungle. The flight was a little delayed, but other than that, it was pretty fast. Well, time to board the trains downtown.

Boarding and not "Boring"

Nelms gave me an interesting face right before we all boarded the flight. We are all quite rather excited about flying into Tokyo, it should be a blast!

Forgot to Unpack

Casualty of war; Casey forgot to unpack his sweet utility tool. It did not make the trip; bummer. It is ok, he took it really well. God will provide another.

Brandon's doing some modeling

We have found Brandon's work here in Okinawa. It looks like he has been making some money on the side. We always knew Brandon was famous.

Tokyo/Guam Team

We are heading out now our first stop will be Tokyo to hang out with Travis and be a part of their evening service. Then the next day we will be flying into Guam. Please keep us all in your prayers.

Jenny's Creations

Jenny has been working overtime making beanies for the kids in the Japan quake area. Joanna will be heading out there with a team next week and this is one way we can help the kids stay warm. They are so cute! Eder kept on trying to steal one, just kidding.

Temote and Simon

These two brothers are heading out to the Sendai area to support and serve in the relief effort. They will be there for a month serving along side Samaritan Purse. Please pray for our dear brothers as they go forward in the name of Jesus.

Tohoku Send Out

Chuck is the first of the group that will be sent out from CCGinowan. He will be heading out to Tokyo and will be meeting up with the group from CCO, Pastor Jeremiah, and Pastor Chizuo. They have some special things planned as they outreach in the Tohoku area. Please pray for their outreach efforts.

Mihama Tohoku Benefit Concert

The students were a part of the benefit concert at Mihama on Friday night. Hakugaijin performed as well as the Gushiken Family (Okinawan dancing). It was a good night to lift up the name of Jesus.

Happy Birthday Chuck!

That is one big cake! It is always a blessing to celebrate these birthdays w2 style. Happy birthday Chuck, may you be simply blessed!

Waffle Sundae's

Saturday night the students gathered together for some ice cream and fellowship. We had such a great time we were all so blessed. Also, Jenny made some chocolate chip cookies, yummy.

Special Guest Lecture

Roy and Omar from Campus Crusade for Christ came to speak to the students about ministry. We were blessed to have them with us. It is always a blessing to have Roy come down and share. Thank you men for coming.

They're Back!

Rob and Rika are now back from their Honeymoon, they had a great time in the States. It is great to have them back with us. Please continue to pray for them.

The Weather is Getting Beautiful

The students want to eat lunch outside in the warm weather. The weather is getting gorgeous outside. Soon we will be heading out to the beach. Study the Word and the beach, it does not get any better than this.

Happy 1st Anniversary!

Paul and Natsuki celebrated their first anniversary this weekend and Paul was able to be there, Praise the Lord! Paul just returned from deployment and at the right time. God is Good! Happy Anniversary Smith's, we love you!

Back in Okinawa

Well, the students are safely back on Okinawa and hitting the books. Study is the main focus these days, the semester is flying by. Next week the second batch of students will be flying out to Guam for their missions trip. Then after them, some of the Japanese students will be heading out to Hokkaido. These kids are Rockin.

On the Plane

It was a little delayed but we are now ready to take off. We will be arriving a little later than expected but we are right on God's schedule. Flowing in the Spirit is the only way to go.

Final Train back to the Airport

Well, we are done with lunch and it is time to head to the airport. It was a fun trip, but now it is Oki time.

Beautiful Sunset in Kansai

So beautiful looking out into the water and seeing the beautiful sunset. The Lord blessed our trip to Korea in every way. Thank you Jesus for all the ministry.

Mike Silva Moonlighting

There is a double of everyone in the world. We found Mike's double in Korea advertising for Costco in Korea. The display says "beauty and comfort".

Kansai Train Ride

We had a 4 hour layover in Osaka so we decided to take a little trip by faith. We took the train down to the next station across the bay and had some good dinner. Joel would have liked it; tasty ramen. This was a first train ride for some of the crew.

Korean Entertainment

Incheon Airport boasts the number one airport in the world. I have to tell you. after all the entertainment, it is ranked up there. There was this kind of Korean parade that went down the isles. Then there was this Korean entertainment played for us above. And to top it off, they allowed some of the students to make Korean dolls. A lot of fun, yes, a lot of fun.

Time to Leave and Head back to Okinawa

i know that the students had a great time in Korea. It was hard for them to say goodbye to the College students at CCDaejeon. Thank you Pastor Mike and Daniel for such a blessed time. We look forward to coming back and we will pray for your special day that will be arriving soon. Remember, only a few more months of single hood.

A Special Honor

This trip was like none other; this time Hannah was able to come and be a big part of the trip. She led in worship for the conference, and assisted in ministry with the rest of the group. This will be her last trip before she heads out to Bible College this fall. We are all going to miss her in Okinawa, she does a lot of "behind the scenes" ministry that is going to be missed. God has great things in store for her.

Special Leftovers

We were already stuffed but we were given another treat; Korean Gyoza. We could not eat another bite, but don't worry, Daniel took it home for lunch. This is a nice picture isn't it?

Hand made Noodles

We were treated today for dinner after serving at the House of Hope. We abet out for a special meal of Korean sweet and sour pork and black bean noodles. It was delicious! The workers stretched the noodles by hand.

Ministry at House of Hope

We had the opportunity to serve today at the mentally and physically challenged home located in the foothills of Daejeon. It is a beautiful place. The guys were moving paving stones and the girls were cleaning windows and serving inside. It was a blessing and an honor to serve.

Happy Birthday! Korean Style

It was Pastor Mike's father-in-laws birthday. So we had a huge cake. Don't worry everyone this piece was for the three girls and not just for Hannah. These girls are chowin down.

Korean Fellowship

After the Sunday morning service we had a great time of fellowship. Pastor Mike pulled out all the stops and we had onigiri's with the Church. They are a wonderful group of people.

Ice Cream!

You have not been to Korea unless you have had their yummy ice cream. All the students like it, and it is reasonable. Cold ice cream on a cold day, yes!

Visit to Independence Hall

There is a huge park dedicated to the time when Korea was liberated from Japanese control. Lots of Museums and even a 4D movie presentation; these guys got to into it.

Orphanage Ministry

After church today we headed down to the orphanage in Daejeon. Our purpose was to come and just hang out with the kids. So we ran around, played basketball, soccer and swung on the swings. The kids are beautiful.

A Visit to Calvary Cheonan

We drove up this morning to CCCheonan to come and see Pastor Cobb. Pastor Inwon is visiting in the States right now, so Cobb is filling in on both services. The gang are doing great, just going with the flow c

Dinner Time

We made it safely to Daejeon and in record time. A little over 2 hours, I could not believe it. Daniel took us to a good restaurant for a nice dinner. Tomorrow comes early, we can't stay up too late.

Cruzin Luxury Time

We are on the bus heading to Daejeon and this bus is nice. Real nice! We are talking reclining all the way back luxury. This is a nice smooth way to travel.

Banana Milk (Eder is Jealous)

Ally bought this in honor of Eder, so guzzle it down girl. Eder dreams of this tasty stuff. We got down to business right away.

We Made It!

We are here! Daniel was there to pick us up right on time. Thank you Daniel and thank you Jesus for getting us here safe. We know that God has good things in store for us.

The Land we Love

Flying out of Okinawa just shows me how much I love our island. The people need Jesus, we need to share the Love of Jesus Christ. Join us in prayer for this great country.

All Smiles!

We are on the bus heading to the plane. We are flying ANA (All Nippon Airlines) so it is Okinawa to Kansai to Incheon. Not too long of flights, 2 hours plus 2 hours. Then a 3 hour bus ride.

We are ready to leave Okinawa and head to Daejeon Korea. The team is excited. How do I know? Everyone keeps on talking. We are ready to go.
