Monument to the Surrender
The British Surrender

Check this out! This house is over 200 years old. When the British surrendered to the United States, this was the house that the papers of surrender were signed. This is Thomas Nelson's house! The French bombed the British by sea, as the Virginia Militia came behind the British by land. As you see the pictures above, the Cannon balls are still embedded in the brick house! Check out the picture on your upper left hand side. Click on it, and you will get a better view of the cannon ball on the second floor of the house, amazing. Click on the picture to the right and you will see that famous actor George Clooney. Just kidding, that is our very own Pastor Tom Hallman.
Youth day at Paramount King's Dominion Park
The youth group had a good day as they spent it at a Water/Theme Park. They spent most of the day in the water and riding rollercoasters. They came back real tired, but totally blessed. This day was a relaxing day for them because tomorrow starts the weekend of ministry. Friday morning we will be heading down to Virginia beach and hooking up with two other youth groups for an outreach at the beach. Oh yeah, please pray for Abel Duran and George Sedota as they will be flying in to Virginia, arriving about 9pm Friday night.
Mize blog
Hi everyone! This is Brent and Cathy's new blog. When you get a chance, please check it out. It is located on the right hand side of this entry under; Brent Mize Family. For those of you who do not know them, Cathy originally came from CCLivingwater and was sent to CCOkinawa to serve as a missionary. As she faithfully served the Lord in Okinawa, God brought to her a wonderful husband, Brent. Our brother in Christ Brent serves in the US Airforce, and they have a great baby boy named Aaron.

Zach Ruiz teaches the devotion

Zach did a great job today in our afternoon devotion. He taught out of Philippians 1:21 "to live is Christ, to die is gain". We were challenged to live our lives for Jesus while we are out on this missions trip. We are to let God speak and change our hearts. We were all blessed. Jon and Daniel led awesome worship.

The team gathered together after lunch to worship, get into the Word and recieve instruction for the day. The gals are staying at Dave and Lonnie Witherby's house. Last night the guys slept at Jon Horne's uncles house. And Joanna and I stayed at the Hallman's. We are blessed by Virginia hospitality.

Williamsburg Watermelon
Fruit is often inexpensive in the United States. Check out the size of this watermelon, it weights 24lbs (about 11 kilos) and it cost only $4.95 ( about 450 yen) that means in Japan it would cost 40 yen a kilo. I love watermelon, it is my favorite fruit next to oranges. Hannah could hardly hold this up.
Safe in Virginia
We made it! The flight was easy and fast. Pictured are some of the youth getting ready for Wednesday night service. If you look in the center of the picture, you can see Hannah. On the far upper left is Daniel Sedota, below Hannah is Evangelina Ochoa, and to the right is Brittney Barger. We are getting ready for lunch, boy are we hungry.
Heading to Virginia

About a year ago, Tom Hallman and his family packed up from California to start a new ministry in Virginia. A year later the Lord has blessed the work, and the Calvary Chapel in Williamsburg is off and running, being blessed by the Lord. We will be with Pastor Tom H. for about a week. A team from CCLivingwater is out there now, and will be doing ministry with them for about two weeks. So I have the opportunity to teach at their men's breakfast, and Sunday morning. We have a busy week planned ahead with a lot of outreaches. Please pray for us that the Lord would lead and guide us. God bless you, Pastor Tommy

Meet Jeff and Jason
CCBC Murrieta Campus

For many, you have not had the opportunity to see the Head Campus in California. Here are a few pictures of the College, and it is quite beautiful. The College used to be a mineral spa area for the rich many years ago, and was also run by the mob (gangsters), but became run down and dilapitated. Pastor Chuck bought the property over 10 years ago, and began refurbishing everything, and I mean everything! It used to be a smelly mud hole and now it is a beautiful College Campus. Not pictured are the tennis courts, pool, mineral pools, auditoriums and the lake. God always takes things that are run down and broken, and makes them into beautiful things for His glory.
Coming to Okinawa soon
Hi everyone! This is Misty Albright, and she presently works at CCBC Murrieta. She works in the front office. Recently Misty has heard the call of God to come out to Okinawa and help serve at the the Bible College and do whatever else the Lord would have her do. She has a real servants heart, and we are blessed to have her come and stay with us as she serves the Lord. Please begin to keep Misty in your prayers as she gets ready for her trip to Okinawa. We are truly blessed that the Lord is bringing her out here. Pastor Tommy

Rythym Unity 6 Picts

photos by Vunder
I just got off the phone with Pastor Tim a few hours ago, and based on his words and the pictures, the breakdance contest was a huge success. Tim stated that Yoshi did a great job of sharing the Love of Jesus Christ with the people that night. There were so many people who showed up for the event. Most importantly, the Name of Jesus Christ was proclaimed to all the people who attended the event.
Sunday Morning Park Service

Sunday July 16th, CCLivingwater had a morning service at River Road park in Corona. It was a wonderful morning service. After the service we had a large potluck and Larry Hume supplied the Fish tacos. Larry is a great fisherman and he caught a lot of Tuna and fried up the fish and we had tacos galore. I had the opportunity to teach the fellowship and encourage the body to be prepared for the Lord's return. Pastor Tommy
Segmon sighting
Segmon is looking and doing good. How about that sweet haircut! But in all seriousness, Seg is doing really good. He misses everyone in Okinawa but he is staying involved in Ministry at CCLivingwater. Please continue to pray for our brother, he starts Pharmacy school Monday, so he will be real busy. I am just wondering one thing Segmon, did you finish your Chuck tracts?
Sean Mchaney
Many of you remember our good brother Sean. We have stayed in touch with him since he left Okinawa, and he is still serving in the Navy. He will be done with his service some time in February "07", and his heart is to return back to Okinawa and serve the Lord in whatever capacity he can. Please pray for brother Sean, that the Lord would continue to lead and guide our good friend. God bless you, Pastor Tommy

CCLivingwater Summer VBS

Outreaching in the park! The church at Livingwater is reaching out to the kids in the neighborhood by putting on a VBS called "Son's Treasure Island". They are having a blast. Zach, Hannah and Michal are able to be a part of the outreach as well as help in any way possible. Kids are so great, they are loved deeply by Jesus Christ and should be a priority of every ministry.

Rob has begun his paper work for his long term stay in Okinawa. There are a lot of things that the government requires to recieve your missionary visa. We have collected all of the material, but now, it must be translated into Japanese. Please pray for Rob that all of this comes together smoothly and he recieves his visa soon from the Japanese consulate.
