Cole leads Worship

At Sunday night service Cole leads worship as the students share and we have a time of afterglow. It should be a blessed time.

Kimchi hits the Roof!

Right now there is a a shortage of Chinese cabbage (bokchoi). So the price is hitting the roof! A head of cabbage runs around 4 usd, but it has gone as high as 16 dollars. Korean people have got to get their kimchi, it is like us running out of cabbage at the Bible College.

Logan's Ride

This is one sweet ride. Korea has some cool looking cars. This one was parked in the neighborhood. Almost as classy as a 21 window VW hey Logan?

Lunch at Pastor Mike's House

We were invited for an after church luncheon at the Pastor's house. It was a good time with excellent food. Thank you Hye-young for the delicious food.

10/10/10 at 10am

This day only comes once every 100 years. So we took time to reflect on the date and time. We are in Korea on this day, where are you?

Joanna is back in Okinawa!

Thank you everyone for all of your prayers. Joanna made it back home safely from California. It was an experience, but I will leave that up to her to tell you. But Praise the Lord her and Katie are home safe. She is a little tired, but I was able to talk to her from Korea via skype. Again, thank you for your prayers, her connection in Taipei was smooth and she was even able to take a shower in the VIP lounge at China Airlines. God bless you all, Pastor Tommy

Cole's New Album "going my way"

Taking the taxi to "Gung Dong" to shop and get some some coffee. It is a college town so everything is cheap. Taxi's are inexpensive in Korea.

Digging for Sweet Potato is hard work!

Digging for Sweet Potato

We visited the special needs home in Daejeon. Today was the beginning of the "Sweet Potato Festival". We ate sweet potato everything! Some good stuff. Daniel and Mike volunteer here once a week. Today we let on a little worship during the festivities.

Sir Mochi Matt

Koreans like mochi too, but they have another word for it. Here Matt is pounding it Korean style in full Korean garb. You go bro, pound that mochi.

Matthew enters the Contest

Our very own Matt entered the sweet potato pealing contest. He could have won except that he picked the biggest one to peal. Good try anyway bro.

Some Good Soybean

At the Special Needs Home in Daejeon, we were able to walk the fields and see one of the many types of vegetables they are growing. This field is growing soybeans. We love soybeans at the Bible College. They grow plentifully in Daejeon.

First Dinner in Daejeon

We arrived in Daejeon City in record time. Korea built a new freeway that travels over the water and cut the drive time down by at least one hour. Usually we have to drive near Seoul and the traffic is hideous! It was a great drive. After going to the church, we met Daniel and went out to dinner. My favorite "dakgalbi", delicious!

Joanna Delayed in LAX

Hi everyone, can you keep Joanna in prayer. He plane is delayed in LAX because something went wrong with the mechanics so they grounded the plane. She was supposed to leave at 1am, Thursday morning, but the plane is not supposed to leave until 8am. She is with Katie from CCOkinawa and they were supposed to give them a room, but they could not. They are staying in the China area lounge. Again, pray for a safe flight and that they both will arrive in Okinawa refreshed. God bless you all, Pastor Tommy

We Made It!

We arrived safely on Korea and actually the plane landed early. Pastor Mike was there right on time. Off to Daejeon we go.

We found Her!

She made it! She has been located, and she is ready to fly!

Happy Boys

We are about to take off soon. These guys are so ready.

Getting Ready to Board

Hey! Where is Brandy? Don't worry folks, she is here somewhere. She is the special sister on the trip.

Blessings For All

The Word of God tells us that those who stay back with the baggage receive the same blessings as those who go out to battle. The team is leaving to Korea but the rest of the group will be taking care of the fort back home.

Korean Team Fall 2010

Please keep the team on your prayers as we head out to Korea. We are looking forward to a great time serving the Lord at CCDaejeon. We are also looking forward to meeting Ralph Reedy and Pastor Lee. God Bless you all!
