Pastor Tommy in Taipai, Taiwan

Hi everyone, I am in CKC International Airport in Taiwain. For those of you who do not know, my mother Yumiko was born in Taiwan. Back then, it was still owned by Japan, and Taiwan was called the Island of Formosa. So, everytime I am in Taiwan, I think of my mom and what it was like for her growing up on this Island. It is kind of interesting, my mother was born on an Island, and now we are living on one here in Okinawa.
I have a few hours and I thought that I would send up a little blog on the website. The flight was fast even though it was 14 hours long. The time was good, I slept a lot. Right when I get back to Okinawa, I need to finish up getting ready for my Bible College class on the Book of Acts. Then, the next morning Joanna and I are scheduled to do chapel services for New Life Academy. After that, Saturday morning I head out to Tokashiki Island to lead worship for a men's retreat until Monday, whewww! Things will be busy, but I am totally blessed just to be able to minister for Jesus Christ, here on the Island of Okinawa.

Hi there! I googled Calvary Chapel Taiwan and your blog post came up. I see that it's several years old, but I was wondering if you know of any Calvaries in the Taipei area. My husband and I are relocating there with our 4 children, and we are Calvary people for sure! Any knowledge you can share would be a huge blessing! Thank you!!

Wow! This is an old post. Hello there Cherie, glad to hear from you. We are located in Okinawa Japan. I don't know of any Calvary's on Taiwan. Shoot me an email at tommyruizjr@hotmail.com. Maybe you can tell me more about you and your family. Okinawa is not too far away. Maybe God will open some doors for us to come and visit with you. God bless you, Pastor Tommy
