Calvary Chapel Chaplain Owens

Wednesday afternoon we were invited to meet Chaplain Owens at Foster Chapel. He is the first Chaplain to be commissioned by Calvary Chapel. He is a wonderful guy. He took time to tell us what it is like being a Navy Chaplain and serving the Lord through the United States Military. The college students are divided between three groups that minister at different churches during the week. One group serves at CCGinowan on Sunday mornings, while another group ministers at CCOkinawa, and our last group will be ministering at Foster Chapel. Chaplain Owens is excited about us coming out, but not a much as the students. They are so blessed with the opportunity to serve in any ways possible. Please continue to pray for all of the students as they step out in faith in a new venture of faith.
