On our day off, I took the group to Yomitan Village for a day of swimming off the wharf. From the jacks on the beach, you can swim to the wharf breakwater structure and climb up it and dive off. Don't worry, it is real deep, so there is no way that they can touch the bottom. The only scary thing is the swim from the jacks. A few years ago, they caught a 20 foot Great White Shark just off the wharf. But don't worry, they have never caught one since. Well, if you click on the pictures, you can get a closer look on what we are doing. If you click on the top left one, you can see the team jumping off. Some are in mid flight, others are splashing down on the water beneath. On the upper right picture, you can click on it, magnify closer and read the insert that was typed on the picture. We had a great afternoon. As we were on the structure, we could see the rain clouds dumping rain on the ocean, and eventually it poured on us.
