Saturday we had to opportunity to take the Students out to Tropical beach to do some "Reef Walking". What is reef walking? At low tide the reef begins to appear close to the shoreline of the beach. We walk around and check out the cool creatures that appear. In the lower left is a picture of a sea slug. To the lower right is a brown starfish. On the top left is Daniel clownin around with some crab claws that he found. To the right is a spiney starfish clinging onto the camera. My favorite picture is the blue jellyfish on a bed of seaweed. While we were out on the reef, there were some Okinawan grandma's gathering up seaweed to take home, dry out and eat. We had a great time for the two hours that we were out there.
