Let the Caving Begin

Winter marks the beginning of caving season for the guys here in Okinawa. But because they have been so busy, they have not had the opportunity to do much. So this Saturday they set out for a new adventure and boy did it pay off. In the top picture you can see some of their findings, they found a military grommet, a belt buckle, leather belt, bullet (not shown) and the prize possession; a military uniform star! You cannot see it in the picture but it is a solid piece of black metal. It is most likely a star from a Japanese officers uniform. Their treasures keep getting better and better.
