Going Bananas

Today we were blessed with some local Okinawan Bananas. You might be wondering "what's the difference". I am so glad that you asked. As you can see, local Okinawan Bananas are smaller, fatter and best of all, taste sweeter. Just some banana facts: a banana is healthier to eat than an apple, the stem of the banana is really the bottom of the fruit, you should peel it from the blunt end, if you do, you will pinch off the bitter piece. One last fact; it takes 18 months for a banana tree to mature to give one stalk "bunch" of bananas. So, next time you eat one, remember
the facts, and they are so good for you.
