Special Prayer Request

Today the rental agency that rented the New Church and Koinonia Cafe to us, asked for a meeting ASAP. We met with them this afternoon and they stated to us that the owner of the property no longer wants to rent to us but he wants to sell the building. They asked if we would be willing to back out of our lease and the owner would be willing to pay us up to $20,000 dollars for our costs and labor. We stated to them that we have already comitted to our other rental agencies in that we will be out of the old buildings by September 1st. Basically we have no other place to lean back on. They understood that it is not about the money but about the commitment to the Lord's New Work. They also understand how we feel, in that they are amazed at the way it now looks. Pastor Tim and myself will meet with them again this Monday, our option is to add on to the lease an option to buy the property after 5 years. Again, the Lord is definitely doing something and we need your prayers. The Scripture that God gave to me right away was in Genesis 14. Lot was taken captive and Abram went with his 318 trained men and rescued lot from his captives. The King of Sodom came to Abram and offered him to take the money but to leave the people behind. Abram completely refused the offer. It was not about the money, but it was about the people. Actually in the Hebrew language, the King of Sodom said "give me the souls, and take to goods for yourself ". That is exactly what satan says, "give me the souls and you take the money. It's not about the money, it is about the people. God wants to continue His good work in Ginowan City, it is all about the people. Please keep us in your prayers. Love, Pastor Tommy
