Katsuren Castle Ruins

Monday is our outings with the Bible College Students. Because it is an American as well as a Japanese Holiday, we were able to bring more people with us. Katsuren Castle was once the home of one of the Ryukyu Kings (Okianwan Kings). There are over a handful of these ruins all over Okinawa. The most famous being Shuri Castle which was restored about 10 years ago. It was a blast hanging out and seeing the sights.

Aw, I remember that castle. Shannon and I weren't very nice to the snails there. Anyway, Liz! Your kids are getting so big, and they're so cute.Looks like you guys had fun.
