How Do You Say Goodbye?

It was truly difficult to say good bye to the Barrios family. I had to leave early to finish studying for Sunday's message (Pastor Tim is sick, please pray for him) so I got off easy, I didn't want the water works to start flowin. They leave tomorrow morning early, they have to be at the Kadena flightline at 5am to check in. It was hard for many of us. Okinawa is one of the greatest places to be on earth. But the difficult thing about it, is that you have to say goodbye to many of your family/friends. David is a part of the Airforce and the military get moved off the island every 2, 3, or 4 years. The Barrios family truly have a heart for the Japanese/Okinawan people and that is why they were attending CCGinowan. They wanted to minister to more of the locals on island. Thank you David, Liz and kids, everyone at church are going to miss you. You have all definitely made a huge impact in all our lives. We love you all, and I just know that we are going to see you again this side of heaven. Love, your Ginowan Family
