First Typhoon's of the Season

I was hoping that we would not get any typhoon's this season, but we really do need the rain. As you can see from the satelite picture there are two storms that are forming; one right off the coast of China and the other one heading right for Okinawa. The weather is rather cool at this time (it always is as the typhoon is forming) and we should start to feel the effects tomorrow. That means we have to cut our VBS short, because of the rain and wind. Please keep us in your prayers, Okinawa always gets hit with typhoon's but pray that it does not hit us hard and that everyone on island will be safe. The students are excited! This will be a first for many of them. We will gather at the Koinonia Cafe for a "Typhoon Party". That means we will play games, watch movies and wait out the storm.

Hi John Michael, it's Nisi. A typhoon should be a piece of cake for you after all those hurricanes you've been through, right? All teasing aside,JM, Dennis and I will have you and all the students and teachers in our prayers for God's safety and protection. Love you, Nisi & Dennis
