The Boyz will Hike up Masada
But the question is “Will they make it?”. Right before they started the massive assent using the “snake path”, one of the Israeli’s stopped them and told them that it was too hot. I encouraged the lady that they know what they are doing, but the temperture was aleady hitting 100 degrees and it was barely 9am. So my question to you “Did they make it?” comment below and tell us what you think.

I guess that in the Holy Land 1 degree of global warming has 100 times the impact seen in say like Burbank California and/or Wellington Australia and/or Toronto Canada... Even Dayton Ohio USA. But, not as much as could be seen in African Savanna country. Worst we ever got in LA as a kid that I remember was 107 when the Santa Ana winds cleared all of the SMOG out of the basin. Silver lining to a cloud of devastation? IDK. Probably. Hope that each pilgrim is packing 10 pounds of water and knows where he/she is going.
To Joseph specifically: Our cousin Ike Irena was 'Planted in the holy land on X-Mass 2009,' and will never revisit his Polish homeland. I met him only once, but cannot begin to describe how much the relief to Jewish suffering meant when he captained a ship of refugees to the founding of Israel. Please, place flowers on his grave for me and mine near Tel-Aviv in the summer when the prickly-pear cactus fruit responds to the heat and sunlight and is at its sweetest.
Joseph: you have many relatives in Israel. You should visit with them and rejoice in the promises of the future and the blessings of the past.
Take your time. It would be harder to arrive again then to stay awhile longer.
LOVE,
UNCLE JOHN.
