The "real" Japan

We tend to think that all of Japan is like Tokyo, tall skyscrapers, millions huddled together. But on the bullet train you see a lot of the countryside. Green trees, single family homes, it is absolutely beautiful. The picture does no justice because we are close to the typhoon, a lot of rain.
