- My family and I moved to Okinawa Japan after Pastoring in Corona, California for 14 years. We started the church in 1991, and have a wonderful church family back in Corona. The reason for coming to Okinawa, is that we have a vision to start a Calvary Chapel Bible College and prepare men and women for ministry all over the World. We feel totally blessed to be overseas in Japan, and believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do here on the Island. Hi. I stumbled across your blog. My parents, Art and Norma Guaracha, are in your group. My mother is the woman in the middle of the photo who appears to be looking at the camera. She is wearing a black jacket and black sunglasses. My dad is standing to the right of her looking at the wall. We have been trying unsuccessfully to get ahold of them since Friday to advise them of an important family matter. Can you let them know to call home or me ASAP! Thanks so much!
