As you can see on the top picture, this is what the front of the sanctuary looks like before the teardown begins. This is what it looks like afterwards (second picture). The third picture is the back of the sanctuary and the bottom picture is the left over wood that is stacked up. We are going to use this old wood to build the stage, finish the wall and last of all to build the old Okinawan roofs. This wood is strong and has a lot of character. Most of the wood is "hardwood" not pine wood. If we had to buy this wood from a store it would cost us a fortune. Even by the United States standards. We are blessed!
