An urgent prayer request

We are praying and looking for a discipleship house for the gals and the Bible College girls that will be joining us this semester. We have looked at a few houses, but recentley we came across this one in the pictures above. It is older but quite large with four parking areas. Someone else is looking at it too, but if it is the Lord's will we will rent it. Will you please join us in prayer for this house, if this is God's will for us He will open the door, but if not, he has something else better in store for us. Thank you so much for your prayers, they mean the world to us. God bless you, Pastor Tommy

Exclusive on e3missions! The life of Joel Coronado

That is right, you got it first here on e3missions. We get a personal upclose look at the life and times of Joel Coronado in his home city of Cherry Valley California. Joel is pictured above doing his favorite things, on his computer, paying PS2, and you got it, just being bored. But seriously bro, we really miss you here in Okinawa and pray that the Lord continues to do wonderful things in your life there at the campus in Murrieta. Joel recently wrote me and sent the picture on the upper right of how much snow they had dumped on them during the recent cold front that hit California. It looks so cool to go run and play in, but, I rather take the warmer weather here in Okinawa. Take care of yourself bro, again, we miss you, but may the Lord continue to bless, lead, and guide you. Pastor Tommy

Bull fighting in Okinawa

We were driving home in Ginowan city and we passed this site on the way. In Okinawa Bull fighting is a big thing, but here people do not fight the bulls but the bulls fight eachother. The owners are so close to the bulls it has been said that the owners actually cry when their bulls loses. To my knowlege the bulls do not fight to the death, but one just gives up and the match is over. A few cities in Okinawa have bull fighting rings and it is a popular sport that is seasonal. One day I would like to attend one of these events. Check out the size of this beast. Close up in real life, it was huge and powerful.

Meet Casandra our newest Intern

We are blessed to have Casandra Fowler who will be coming to Okinawa to help assist at the Bible College. Cacie (KC) as she is liked to be called is here holding her little niece. She will arrive at Naha airport on the 25th of this month. Mark Starr knows her since he used to serve along side her at Murrieta in the kitchen. Cacie will be teaching our Evangelism/Missions class this semester. She will also be assisting in different outreaches throughout the island. We are looking forward to seeing you Casandra. When you get a chance please leave an encouraging comment for her.

A work of God

It is such a blessing to be back in Okinawa and be a part of what the Lord is doing here on the Island. Sunday night at w2 the Lord continues to pack out the place. God continues to bring new Japanese people weekly. We are blown away at what the Lord is doing. We don't take for granted the work of the Lord, so will you continue to pray for us that we would stay in totally devotion to Him and follow in His footsteps. God wants to do an incredible work in the Okinawan Japanese peoples hearts, and we are privileged to be a part of His Work.

Happy Birthday Pastor Tim!

It's Tim's Birthday! Yesterday we had a fun day with Tim and Ayu. We went to the movies and afterwards we went out to dinner. Keegan and Vunder joined us at the movies but did not get a chance to go out to dinner. Tim is holding up something that he has not ate in a long time; Fried Chicken with all the fixin's. When you get a chance please leave the birthday boy a nice greeting.

Incredible Picture

Picture by George Sedota For those of you who have been to CCLivingwater in Corona, you can't forget the fountain in the front of the building. Well the temperature dropped so low in Corona that the fountain froze. This is a first in the 14 years that the fountain has been in front of the building. It was so cold that it snowed in Fontana (a city not far away from Corona). The temperature dropped into the low 20's in the Circle City. For those of you in Corona, drop us a comment and tell us stories on how cold it was. God bless you all, Pastor Tommy

We are back in Okinawa!

We had a long flight, but now we are safe back in Ginowan city. Vunder picked us up from the airport and we arrived safely back home. Now it is back to work and full force into ministry. We love you all, and thank you again for the great time in California. The missionaries here in Okinawa (Pastor Tim, Ayu, Vunder) and all of the Okinawa family thank you so much for everything. God bless you, Pastor Tommy

Hey everyone! Meet Gerson, he will be attending CCBC Okinawa this semester. We are blessed that he will be with us. God bless you bro, we are looking forward to seeing you soon. Pastor Tommy

Heading back home to Okinawa!

We had a great time in California. The time went so fast, so much ministry, so much fun. We were on the plane, first stop Alaska, then Taipai. Wow! A long journey, at least 15 hours from LAX to Taipai. We are now in the airport in Taipai, and we just wanted to put up this blog for everyone. Thank you so much all of our family in California for such a wonderful time of ministry. God bless you all, Pastor Tommy

Congratulations Dylan and Anabel

This is the first picture of the miracle baby! For some of us we know Pastor Dylan and Anabel but let me introduce you to them. They are serving the Lord up in Watsonville California pastoring a church there. When they found out that Anabel was pregnant they were so excited, but as time went on, the doctors said that the baby would not make it, they were so wrong. God is in the business of doing miracles! Oh yeah, here is her name and the information that Dylan sent to me; "Anastasia Annette Smith was born January 7 at 11:58pm; 6lbs 6oz and 17 inches long." Please continue to pray for this couple and the wonderful addition to their family.

Happy Birthday Zach!

There's Zach again, making a dumb face for the camera. Happy Birthday Zach, he turned 17 on Wednesday. We had a birthday celebration for him right after the Wednesday night service. Pastor Jerry gave a great message out of Proverbs 23. Afterwards, we had some curryrice, chips and hot sauce, danishes, bread and sweets. Don't forget the cake, there is always lots of cake. When you get a chance, please click the comment button below and leave a birthday greeting for the big 17 year old.

Evangelist Ray Comfort

Some of you might know Ray Comfort, he often goes out to Santa Monica Pier in California and share the Love of Jesus Christ with people. He has an incredible method of sharing God's love. It is really not a method, because all he does is share God's Word with people and makes them see their need for Jesus Christ. Rob Vunder use to go out to Santa Monica and listen to Ray, as well as share Jesus with people too. Ray was invited to the CC Pastor's meeting that Jerry goes to monthly. He invited me to attend with him this month. It was a blessing to hear Ray teach us the importance of sharing Jesus with people. Presently Ray is hooked up with Kurt Cameron and they do a television and live radio series called "the Way of the Master".

Our very own Movie Star!

Yes sir, you got it, our very own Rick Dominguez live on TV! Many of us know Rick and some of you might know his sons, Israel and Solomon. Rick is a fireman for the county of Los Angeles and a spokesman for the city, especially when their are major fires in the area. At the writing of this blog, there is a huge fire burning in the hills of Malibu that have destroyed many million dollar homes in that area. "Thank you Lord for Rick and please continue to keep your hands upon his life, and the many firefighters in the State of California. Please use Rick for your Glory and continue to fill him with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name, Amen".

Paul Wright at Day Seven

On Sunday night Hannah and the rest of the crew went to Harvest Christian Fellowship and saw a concert with Paul Wright. For those of you who do not know who he is, he is a Christian acoustic guitar player and has a number of CD's out there. He is the singer/songwriter of "Sunrise to Sunset", and a number of other top singles. After the concert they had the opportunity of getting autographs from Paul, they were blessed.

Ministry at CC North Edwards

Sunday morning Joanna, Michal, Asa and I all headed out to North Edwards in the High Desert of California. That is where Doug McCalebb lives and attends the church in North Edwards. The drive took a little over two hours from Norco with no traffic. We were blessed to meet the congregation and teach them an encouraging message. The church has been without a Pastor for the last 6 months, and they are praying who the Lord will send them. Pastor Gil is located a little over an hour away from Bakersfield. He drove out that morning and joined us for the service. He is planning on doing some outreaches with the men of the church in the next few weeks, so keep Gil up in your prayers. It was a wonderful time in the High Desert. God bless you all, Pastor Tommy
